He took it to his Davis Shop and fixed it for me. I was up and running in less than a few days! I am always going to recommend everyone I know to his shop! “I have a 2008 Saab 9-3. Needless to say it is not the easiest car to find parts for or work on since Saab went out of business. Davis Imports have serviced my car to an exceptional level, their customer service is amazing, prices extremely competitive, and the work is done to the highest standard.

Short story, we were driving home to Phoenix for Christmas when a code came up. Turned out the fuel pump was about to go out. We took it in and the guys were able to find a new fuel pump, install it and get us back on the road to get home before Christmas Eve! We wouldn't have made it home if it wasn't for Jared and the team at Davis Imports!”

“Had brought a car for repair there a couple of years ago, was very satisfied with the service but didn't take the time to write a review. Last week I brought my 2002 VW Jetta for a thorough inspection. Again, excellent service. Jarad explained every repair, even suggested the most efficient and least costly solution given that the car is 13 years old (but still good). I highly recommend this mechanic.”

“This is the only repair shop we now take our cars to, and it's the most ethical and trustworthy place I've been to in Davis. Prices are very reasonable, repairs are excellent, the explanations from Bob and Jared are thorough, and I have nothing but praise for the job they do. Even when we've had odd things happen at the most inopportune times, this business has never hesitated to have us bring the car right in, and has even given us advice over the phone when we weren't sure if it was safe to drive the car in or not. Even their dog is friendly when greeting me. Our two cars together have about 350,000 miles on them, and they're running great. I can't recommend this place enough.”

“Dealership mechanics had told me that there was a defective part in my car that needed to be replaced which would have cost several thousand dollars. I took my car to Davis Import Auto Services and they instructed me that the original evaluation by the dealership was incorrect and that the true source of the problem would only cost a couple of hundred dollars to fix. They saved me a significant amount of money and didn't BS me. I would highly recommend them.”

“We're longtime Davis residents (30 yrs.) and have tried many different shops over the years. Davis Import Auto is definitely one of the best we've encountered. They're honest, do solid work and their prices are fair. They also don't try to 'upsell' you. And if you can get another 8 months out of your battery or one more year on those brakes, they'll let you know that, too. We've even had a couple of goofy things happen, and they were great at helping us out quickly and efficiently. They also do warranty work, which we like since we haven't been especially happy with different dealership's service departments. We've been coming here for about 10 years and our experience has only been positive.”

“Last weekend my car died on the causeway on my way to a wedding...on a SATURDAY! To add to my freak out, I'm not from the immediate area I didn't know of anywhere to take it. The tow truck driver suggested Davis Imports and Auto since get this, they are OPEN ON SATURDAYS (yay) and he has worked with them before.
Boy am I glad that my car was taken there!! Bob was amazing. I was so worried that my car was going to cost me an arm and a leg and that I would somehow have to figure a way to get back to Davis to pick it up sometime the next week. Bob went above and beyond started the diagnostic and noticed that a coil had simply come unplugged, he then promptly called me and was so accommodating. He said he was going to actually be at the shop picking up things, Sunday and he would be happy to stay so I could pick my car up. When I got there to pick it up he even took the time to show me where exactly the coil was so in the off chance it happened again (which it didn't) on my way home I would know how to fix it!! BIG THANK YOU TO YOU, BOB!!!”

“Super nice guys, willing to explain everything to me and be patient when my subaru broke down in Davis on a road trip. Not the cheapest shop ever but they know what they're doing. However I did call other places in Sac and their estimates couldn't compare. Also their customer bathrooms saved my life. RIP Ol' 'ru.”

I was greeted by a man named Bob, who brought a meter to my car, briefly inspected it, told me my car was fine, and had me on my way within 20 minutes - completely free of charge and no BS. I'm very pleased with this business and will definitely be returning for future inquires.”

“I took my BMW here for a fan issue and to repair a door lock that wasn't working. Work was completed quickly and I believe it was a fair price.
They were friendly, the office was an organized mess but as long as they know where everything is, that's fine. They have a dog that just layed quietly the whole time I was at the counter. I got a real comfortable feeling, like taking your car to Dad's garage.”
